had a lot lot of running bad and playing bad. I decided to fix my mindset and try a few things. After a few k hands on zoom, 50nl, 10nl and 25nl i ended up playing 25nl at the end of the month. Mindset looks pretty solid right now, yet i will stay a few more days there until i feel the need to return to my old limits.

At the beginning of April, my internetconnection started to get really bad, beacuse there were a shitload of tourists in Pattaya since songkran (new year in Thailand) was coming soon and the riots in bkk led even more tourists/partypeople to Pattaya.
So i decided to take a month off afer the first few day.

May was a mix of playing bad and playing bad. Therefor no money for me :)

So far so good. As u can see in the graph below, the month started good but turned from the normal giraffe to breakeven. I am not really happy with my game at the tables, and almost every review of my hands shows me that there are a ton of misplayed and misred hands. At least i think to know where my leaks are so it will be easier to work on them.


As far as my goals for this month go:

-  have already tilted :)
- winrates are ok so far but its a small sample
- i am on the best way to get at least 60k hands

I didn´t put AA, AK and AQ in the range because i think he won´t raise the flop with hands like that in a 3bet pot on that board, I also dont think he is bluffing a lot in that spot because his betsitzing is a bit too high for a r/f os i don't give me any foldequity.

Are the handranges ok or did i forget some possible hands he might have?

Hi guys.

I made about 350$ at the tables so far and decided to play the 8th anniversary Sunday-Million and a few other tourneys. After busting in the last tourney at 6:30 am i m about breakeven since i cashed only in one small 17$ tourney for like 27$. After all it was fun to play the SM and placing at 10k / 46k is sad but worth playing the 5 hours.

February went not as expected; low winrates and  again only 57 hours on the tables. Running good at 50nl, setups at 100nl deep and 200pl. But lets not focus on the past, there is a brand new month coming and i want to put a lot of work into it. Also i am going to play the anniversary Sunday-million in two days. Lets all hope for the best.

Poker-March 2014

Hey guys,

i was talking to a my friend Dimi on Skye while we were reviewing a few hands, and he pointed out that i was working only a few hours in the last months. I was really surprised when i saw that i only worked 50 hours in the last three month and came to the conclusion that i have to change that. Also the inspirational announcement of Gefallener in his poker-blog made me think about my work.

I wasn´t that lazy after all because i spent a few weeks away from home and got no laptop to work on, but after all i have to push my volume up to the normal amount it was back in Germany.

I went for 3 days to Malaysia to request my ed-visa and spent some more days in Danok, a small city on the border Malaysia/Thailand. Penang is a really nice city in Malaysia but i only had a few days there and was sleeping a lot since my flight from Thailand was at 8am, so i didn't sleep that night. Also it was really hot and i didn't rent a motorbike. The Highlight was a small alligator in the middle of the town, just minding his own business. Looks like they live in or nearby the sewer and are too small to harm people.


Danok was a fun experience since it is a "party-place" for asians, mostly people from Malaysia, Japan, China and Korea. So u drink mostly beer with ice (frozen water) in it, really strange. The asians in general come to this place only for a few days and spend a shitload of money, and that's what the locals expect from every tourist there. Also my hotel-room got viagra and condoms on the room which would get refilled every day by the room-service if u use them, i guess :).









Since i spent a lot of days without poker i only played about 9k hands basically breakeven. Hopefully i will put a lot of effort in the rest of the month, but since it only has 28 days i am expecting not to reach the 7,5k vpp goal.

January results: a good start in the new year

The month started really bad with some "-10stack days" because i played really bad, but i managed to get back rather fast and ended the month with a little bit above 3k in winnings.

Because of the "January Jumpstart VPP" promotion i got 625 vpp for free since i started with goldstar in the month. This resulted into a lower motivation to start grinding for supernova and i only played 57 hours; something i have to focus on more.

2013 Review

Hi guys,

i would prefer to bring the review earlier but i had to find a day were i m in the mood for a rather long post and not be hangover.

-2013 goals:

[ X ] Moving to Thailand and find a place to live and work

[ X ] Take shots at higher limits and move up
[    ] Clear Supernova

 I m really happy that i found a nice house and am able to work without bigger problems. I saw a few people, esp from America after black Friday, who moved to Canada or other countries and just fucked up their mindset or whatever; moved down a few limits and basically never found back to their old game. This was my biggest fear i faced before leaving Germany where i lived my whole life up to this point.

On the other hand, my results at the tables are really bad compared to the years before. I made overall about half the money i made in 2012 but also had more free time i spent very well. Back in Germany i got a lot of time to play poker because there was not a lot to do for a guy who got his hobby as job. The really hot weather in Thailand combined with a failing aircondition plus a crappy internet made me tilt a lot and resulted into some timeouts and a lower winrate.




Supernova...

Well, i fucked up. I only play poker when i m in the mood and really feel like playing A-game. I took some weeks and even a few months off and was not able to make 100k vpp at the end of the year. In my eyes its not a big loss since only about 18% of my overall-income comes from rakeback; but still, working as a pokerplayer as only job on 50nl+ and not clearing supernova is more than weak.

Overall i got mixed feelings about 2013. On the one side life is good and i m enjoying every day of it, on the other side my results are really crappy. My plan for the next months will be to put more effort into my work and to improve my game (like every goal in every other year-review i guess) :)
